Decanting Missouri Wines 101

October 30, 2023

Decanting wine is a process of pouring wine from its bottle into another container, usually a decanter, before serving. This allows the wine to breathe, which enhances its flavor and aroma by allowing the wine to interact with oxygen. Decanting is often recommended for older wines that have sediment, as the process separates the sediment from the wine.
