Monday-Friday, 7:30 am - 4:30 pm. Closed weekends and holidays. Tasting by appointment only.The Missouri State University Campus at Mountain Grove houses a licensed winery and distiller. Located one hour east of Springfield on Hwy. 60, the Cellars is part of the William H. Darr School of Agriculture. The winery and distillery produce products exclusively from fruit grown at the historic Missouri State Fruit Experiment Station, est. 1899. The facility supports research conducted on specific winemaking problems and offers educational opportunities for students. Public educational events for artisan distillers, home winemakers and consumers are offered annually.
