David Fansler is one of those people whose good nature and self-deprecating humor is infectious. He readily calls himself a “mad scientist”, gives fun names to some of his products and seems to be laughing and smiling all the time. “Some wineries like to be traditional”, he says. “Not me. I like to try new things.” You'll see creative names for most of his wines. You're never quite sure what new wine you'll be getting at Grey Bear. Marschall is in charge of the tasting room activities and marketing of the winery. We are a boutique winery that has limited production and we sell out annually. Stop by early to taste and buy.
